Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By downloading, installing, or using comdeck ("the app"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. Description of service

comdeck is a network and system toolkit application that provides diagnostic, monitoring, and management tools for developers and IT professionals. The app is available on iOS, iPadOS, macOS, tvOS, and visionOS.

3. Account registration

Some features require an account via Sign in with Apple. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You must provide accurate information and promptly update it if it changes.

4. Subscriptions and billing

Free tier: comdeck offers 5 tools at no cost, with no account required.

Paid tiers: Basic ($9.99/mo), Senior ($49.99/mo), and Master ($99.99/mo) subscriptions are available. Each tier includes all tools from lower tiers.

Billing: Subscriptions are billed monthly through Apple's App Store. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.

Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.

Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial billing periods.

Price changes: We reserve the right to change subscription prices. Price changes will take effect at the start of the next billing period following notice.

5. Acceptable use

You agree to use comdeck only for lawful purposes. You must not:

• Use the app to scan, probe, or access networks or systems without authorization
• Use the app to conduct denial-of-service attacks or other malicious activities
• Use the packet sniffer, MITM proxy, or security scanner tools against systems you do not own or have explicit written permission to test
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the app
• Redistribute, sublicense, or resell the app or any of its components
• Use the app in violation of any applicable laws or regulations

You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of comdeck's tools complies with all applicable laws in your jurisdiction. Network scanning and security testing may be illegal in some jurisdictions without proper authorization.

6. SSH and remote connections

comdeck allows you to connect to remote servers via SSH. You are solely responsible for:

• Ensuring you have authorization to access any remote system
• The security of your SSH credentials
• Any commands executed on remote systems through comdeck
• Compliance with the acceptable use policies of the remote systems you connect to

7. Intellectual property

comdeck and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by comdeck and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. The app's source code, design, and branding may not be copied, modified, or distributed without explicit written permission.

8. Disclaimers

comdeck is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that:

• The app will function uninterrupted or error-free
• Network scan results are complete or accurate
• The security scanner will detect all vulnerabilities
• The app will be compatible with all networks or systems

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, comdeck and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption, arising from your use of the app.

Our total liability for any claim arising from or relating to these Terms or the app shall not exceed the amount you paid for the app in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless comdeck and its developers from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the app, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another party.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the app at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or third parties. Upon termination, your right to use the app ceases immediately.

12. Changes to terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via in-app notification at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of comdeck after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
